Becoming a dog agility trainer can certainly be a profitable, fulfilling career for those interested in the sport. Dog agility is an action-packed activity for both dogs and owners. This sport is a blast to watch, and it is a terrific way for an owner to bond with their dog.

The top five ranked agility dogs in each of the 196 AKC recognized breeds, plus the top five All-American Dogs, are invited to attend this prestigious event.

All breeds, including mixed breeds, can participate in Agility – from the smallest to the largest of dogs.

Each dog will compete in two qualifying rounds consisting of a Standard and a Jumpers with Weaves courses. The 10 dogs with the lowest combined scores from each of the five height classes will advance to the Championship Round. The 50 finalists will be vying for the title of Masters Agility Champion.

Cash prizes range from a few dollars to several hundred dollars at the local or regional level, with prize money of $10,000 paid out in the championship finals.
