Making low carb simple
Instructions
Heat the butter in a large frying pan on medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms, chopped red peppers, season with salt and pepper, and fry until soft.
Crack the eggs straight into the pan and stir right away so everything gets well incorporated.
Move spatula across bottom and side of the skillet to form large, soft curds. Cook until no visible liquid egg remains, but the eggs are not dry.
Put the scramble on a plate and top with shredded parmesan and scallions.
Tip
Use a Microplane to grate the Parmesan cheese even finer for an even fluffier result.
If you prefer to mix the Parmesan cheese into the scramble, this is also a tasty option.

Loving Diet Doctors advise, thank you. Please could you possibly improve your filters to enable users to select the number of people per meal plus the meal/s the food is required for and have this alter the shopping list? Can I add dinner time desserts to meal plans? For example, I cook dinners each day for 3 adults (2 not on Keto) we never need leftovers to repeat the dinner for lunch as I am an intermittant faster during the week and the others find their own lunches. 2 people for breakfast Sat and Sun. It will save a lot of wastage and money. Allergies could be better catered for. Tomatoe pips in our case for one person, so I replace with roasted peppers, celiac for me...not to onerous on Keto fortunately! Many thanks.

It may be variations in the type of mushroom or the brand of parmesan cheese.

It is possible to exchange the red peppers in the keto breakfast with another veggie?

Yes, but be sure to adjust the nutritional information accordingly. Perhaps asparagus or a bit of tomato would be a good addition.

This was delicious! I used 3oz of mushrooms and only two eggs, however. Very happy with the simplicity and flexibility of your recipes!

My husband loves when I make this one for him. So easy when you have the veggies chopped and ready to go in the fridge.

It was wonderful... and easy! It looked beautiful and was delicious! I used powdered parmesan cheese because it's what I already had, but it was still good. I took pictures and sent them to my friends! :) Thank you!

When I enter each exact item into my keto carb app, it totals 6.8 carbs. Others have pointed this out. Why?

Not sure if your metric conversion is correct it states 60ml which is a liquid measure so I went with 60g which was so much cheese! I actually used about 30g otherwise I wouldn't have been able to taste anything else. Other than that it was a lovely breakfast.

This was a delicious breakfast! I used half the amount of cheese too. I will definitely make this again.
